System Integration Engineer

Your Role

As a future product specialist for our PaaS/SaaS solution, you will take on a dual role:

• Technical Expert: Help our customers seamlessly integrate their ITSM systems.
• Consultant: Advise on all product-specific questions, actively contributing to the company’s success.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and research APIs of the systems to be connected.
• Independently specify, design, implement, document, and deploy interfaces that operate across different organizations.
• Act as a 3rd-level specialist, supporting ongoing operations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing interfaces.
• Advise customers on cross-company interface design.

Your Profile

• Experience in integrating different systems, either in software development, testing, system engineering, or as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and web services (REST/SOAP, OAuth, OpenID, SAML, etc.).
• Proficiency with tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Swagger, curl, wget, or similar.
• Programming knowledge, ideally in JavaScript.
• Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication skills, both via email and video conferencing with customers and team members.
